Leave of absence
Sam Chanthy is currently on a leave of absence. He has been working for several projects including water supply and sanitation, evaluation of ecosystem services, Climate Change Adaptation Knowledge Platform, cost of land degradation, Mekong River Basin Development Plan, Flood and climate vulnerability, and low-carbon economy.
He also contributes to the Sustainable Pathways to attain the Millennium Development Goals with focus on the link between ecosystem services and poverty dynamics.
Before joining SEI, Sam Chanthy worked for the NGO Forum on Cambodia and spent several years working for Environment Program – policy advocacy for sustainable hydropower development and building capacity of and empowering grass-root communities in Cambodia.
