Tom Gill is managing editor of the academic journal Climate and Development, and editor and writer with the SEI communications team.

Prior to joining SEI he worked as a research editor for the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), editing books on arms control and international security published by Oxford University Press. He has over 10 years’ experience as an editor and writer for a range of UK publications and organizations, including the BBC and The Independent.

Tom studied English language and literature at the University of Sussex.
