Sopon Naruchaikusol, Master of Science in Resource Management (interdisciplinary programme), has 9 years of professional experiences in disaster risk management and vulnerability assessment, climate change adaptation and regional model, community based natural resources management, resources and environmental economics, biodiversity conservation, community participation, community action research, environmental education, and wetlands management in the lower Mekong basin.
His areas of specialisation are community based natural resources management (CBNRM), economic tools for conservation, and economic valuation of natural resource and environment. He also has extensive experience on the field research advisor and project management.
Before joining SEI, he worked as outreach officer for Mekong Wetlands Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Use Programme (MWBP) in Songkhram demonstration site, Thailand.
